Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications will organize in cooperation with BCS Training six conferences in different parts of Estonia for raising awareness of Internet safety among the youth. In the conferences, IT-companies will share knowledge about the development directions of technology and what to keep in mind regarding Internet safety.<\/p>\n

Other matters will also be under discussion, like how to raise the youth\u2019s awareness of Internet safety, what to do and how to involve when there is a reason to think the inadequate use of Internet will bring unwanted risks or difficult situations into to life of the youngster. The conferences will be organized in good cooperation with NPO Estonian Union for Child Welfare, Tiger Leap Foundation, Estonian Police and Border Guard Board, Estonian Information System\u2019s Authority and other organizations that are interested in promoting a safer behavior on the Internet.<\/p>\n

Webmedia Group manager Taavi Kotka, The manager of Certification Centre and Internet safety trainer Kalev Pihl, Microsoft Estonia technology consultant Rasmus Reimo, Estonian Information System\u2019s Authority info-protection expert Anto Veldre, Pelgulinna Gymnasium development anager and \u2018Smartly on the Web\u2019 trainer Birgy Lorenz, BCS Training trainer Tarmo Rosenfeldt, web-officer Andero Sepp and Police and Border Guard Board Central Criminal Police Leading Officer Anu Baum will speak in the conferences.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The project\u2019s \u201cTargalt internetis (Smartly on the Web)\u00a0informational desk will be open in the conferences.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The series of conferences is directed at teachers, youth- and social workers, and everyone who works with youngsters and children. The conferences are free, but previous registration is necessary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
