{"id":1420,"date":"2012-02-06T12:02:33","date_gmt":"2012-02-06T10:02:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.targaltinternetis.ee\/en\/?p=1420"},"modified":"2015-12-29T14:51:39","modified_gmt":"2015-12-29T12:51:39","slug":"sid-kit-2012-competitions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.targaltinternetis.ee\/en\/news\/2012\/02\/sid-kit-2012-competitions\/","title":{"rendered":"SID Kit 2012 \u2013 Competitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year, we will be running two competitions for the younger generation\u2026\u00a0although in the spirit of the Safer Internet Day 2012 theme of \u2018Connecting generations\u2019, other members of the school or family are welcome to get involved too!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SID poster competition<br \/>\n<\/strong>For this competition, we invite children and young people to create an Acceptable Use Policy* poster using the initials \u2018SID\u2019, or based around the theme of \u2018Connecting generations\u2019.<br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n* An Acceptable Use Policy (also known as an AUP or fair use policy) is a set of rules and guidelines for the way in which technology and online content and services can be used. It aims to both keep users safe and protect the network or system from misuse. See our examples in the<\/em><em>(SID kit for schools) <\/em><em>for further ideas.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SID video competition<br \/>\n<\/strong>For this competition, we invite children and young people to create a short video clip (maximum of 2 minutes) on the theme of \u2018Connecting generations\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For both competitions, there will be three categories of entry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9 years old and under<\/li>\n<li>10-14 years old<\/li>\n<li>over 14 years old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entries will be accepted online from <strong>1-29 February 2012 <\/strong>inclusive.
