Estonian Safer Internet Centre published a lesson plan “AI as a learning partner” for teachers.
For grades 4-6, but can be used also with younger or older students
Lesson objectives
- The student understands what artificial intelligence is.
- The student knows the benefits and risks when using artificial intelligence.
- The student understands that artificial intelligence can support their learning, but does not do the schoolwork for them.

Lesson plan has been created in 2024 by Heily Epro-Volmer, who is a trainer of Estonian Safer Internet Centre and teacher in Harkujärve Põhikool. Lesson plan was published in the framework of the Estonian Safer Internet Centre project Smartly on the Web, which is co-financed by European Commission and Ministry of Social Affairs.
